Regulatory Indicators for Sustainable Energy (RISE)

The International Institute for Energy Conservation Pvt. Ltd. (IIECPL) supported the International Institute for Energy Conservation (IIEC) in developing Regulatory Indicators for Sustainable Energy to document the policy and regulatory environment for private investment in sustainable energy. This provides a framework reference point for countries to evaluate their enabling environment in energy access, renewable energy, and energy efficiency through a set of specially designed indicators and detailed country-specific data. It helps identify necessary policies and instruments to advance sustainable energy vision while highlighting good practices that foster a strong enabling environment and support peer learning.

IIECPL team assisted IIEC in conducting the consultations with key stakeholders to collect and update essential data and information for the energy efficiency and renewable energy across all continents contributing to an improved policy and regulatory landscape for sustainable energy development.
